Welcome to
The Wandering Wing
I don't fly a machine, I fly.
The world looks different when you take to the sky. The Wandering Wing is a collection of aerial films and photographs from places across the globe, all of them seen from a new perspective.

To me, it's not just flying a drone, it's flying – embarking on a journey, carried on wings.

I run this project because I believe the sky changes how we see everything reminding us how small we are on this vast sphere of rock. Maybe you’ll agree, maybe you’ll just enjoy the view. Either way, I’m glad you’re here.

I hope you enjoy this brief flight through some of my recent adventures.
Mount Siguniang lies tucked deep between the mountains of Sichuan Province, a place of stillness and tradition.

I wandered through the meadows of Changping Valley, where yaks grazed among the pastures, their bells echoing across the highland air. The scent of barley and fresh milk lingered on the breeze, a reminder that even in remote valleys the world offers its own quiet abundance.
Lago Maggiore stretches like a silver mirror between the shoulders of the Alps, its waters shimmering with a quiet grandeur.

I drifted past islands crowned with villas and gardens, where cypress trees pierced the horizon and church bells carried across the lake. Every turn along its shore revealed another painting come alive – Italy at once serene and dramatic.
The Alcázar of Segovia rises like a fairytale crown above the confluence of rivers, its towers cutting sharp against the Castilian sky.

Stone walls carry whispers of kings and knights, a fortress turned palace, turned legend. From above, it looks less like a building and more like a story carved into the earth.
Chongqing stands at the meeting of the Jialing and Yangtze rivers, a city of endless hills and bridges strung like threads of light across the Yangtze.

At night the towers blaze against the mist, their reflections trembling on the water below. It is a place that never seems to end – vast, vertical, and alive with the hum of a million journeys.
Arenal d’en Castell curves like a crescent of turquoise glass along Menorca’s northern shore. Its waters are calm, almost unreal, shifting from deep blue to transparent green with the turning light.

Whitewashed villas perch on the rocky headland, their walls catching the last gold of the evening sun. From above, the bay reveals its perfect symmetry – sea, sand, and stone in quiet harmony.

About Me

Hi, I’m Samuel – a Politics and Economics student who’s endlessly curious about people, places, and ideas. I learn languages, chase new cultures, and film the world as I see it – always searching for fresh perspectives from the ground and the sky.
